Beth Birmingham and I recently attended Super Soap Weekend at Walt Disney World.

Wow, those Soap Opera fans are really crazy….so Beth and I fit right in!

We had a great time standing in long lines just for a close up glimpse of our favorite stars.

Of course one of the best parts of our trip was the whole Disney experience!

We stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort.  This tropical themed resort has a lot to offer!

A great pool area that everyone was enjoying, which is just off the lagoon which had mini boats and paddle boats for rent.  You can also rent bicycles built for 4, to get around this fabulous resort.

The food court area had lots of great options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.  The resort also offers a sit down restaurant “Shutters” which is only open for dinner.

If you’re planning on having ANY sit down meals, I would highly recommend making reservations.   We had the dining plan on our package, which is such a great value!

It includes a snack, a fast service meal (including desert!) and a sit down restaurant meal.

You can use the program just about anywhere.  We were really glad we had it.

We were only there for three nights and we really packed a lot into our quick trip.

The first afternoon/evening we went to Epcot.  The fireworks there were fantastic.

Our favorite ride at Epcot was the Test Track.  That was a lot of fun.

The next two days we spent at Hollywood Studios racing around to see our Soap Stars.  We did get to experience some great rides.  The Rock – n – Roller coaster was a blast!

The whole ride is completely in the dark!  We ate at the 50’s Hollywood Café which was really good, and a fun atmosphere.

We wrapped up our trip with the Magic Kingdom.  No Walt Disney World trip is complete without going on Space Mountain!  Next time you’re there check out the Sunshine Tree Terrace across from Pirates of the Caribbean.  They have the BEST orange and vanilla swirled ice cream!  Another must have on my visits to the Magic Kingdom.

Going to Walt Disney World is always magical and it certainly was for us.
